Can the UK halve energy use in buildings by 2030?



H.D. Services have long believed that in order for the UK to reduce energy usage and move towards clean growth, then the requirement for new buildings to be carbon zero needs to be written into law.

It appears that the government are now beginning to think the same way. In a speech on the 21st May at the Jodrell Bank radio telescope observatory in Cheshire, Prime Minister Teresa May pledged that the energy usage of new buildings will be halved by 2030.
